Angle Bush

After attending an event that did not fully reflect the diversity needed to ensure access and opportunity in the artificial intelligence sector, Angle decided to do something about it. In 2020 she founded Black Women In Artificial Intelligence, an organization whose mission is to Educate, Engage, Embrace, and Empower Black Women in the Artificial Intelligence industry.

In the past three years, the organization has seen phenomenal growth, becoming a global organization whose members span five continents North America, South America, Europe, Australia and Africa.

Aligning with the mission to provide access and opportunity, the organization has also developed partnerships with some of the top companies in the nation including Amazon, Capital One, and NVIDIA.  From learning and development opportunities to mentorship programs, the organization continues to create initiatives that focus on creating spaces for Black Women to thrive.

Beyond her work with Black Women In Artificial Intelligence, Angle is a sought-after speaker and thought leader on diversity and inclusion in Artificial Intelligence, sharing her insights and experiences with audiences around the world. She is a fierce advocate for diversity and inclusion in all its forms and is dedicated to creating a future where black women are fully represented and valued in the tech industry.

Angle earned a Master’s degree in Administration and a Bachelor of Science degree in Community Development with a concentration in Public Administration from Central Michigan University. She also attended Harvard University where she studied History.

Currently she is a Visiting Fellow at the University of Miami (Florida) and serves as a member of the advisory board for the College of Science and Engineering at Central Michigan University.
